Teledoc
Information regarding telehealth:
- Telemedicine enables Dr Raley to provide safe, effective, and convenient care through the use of technology. As with any health care service, there are risks associated with the use of telemedicine, including equipment failure, poor image resolution, and information security issues. Also understand that the provider cannot physically examine you and that you may need to come to clinic to complete the assessment.
- If you are unable to come in the office and you want to discuss an issue with a provider, you may be asked to schedule a telehealth visit via Klara After hours calls to the physician may be converted to a telehealth visit if the physician feels it is needed. Dr Raley will send you a time for the visit via Klara. Our telehealth provider, Klara, is compatible with Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. You can access a visit with your pc/ mac (if it has video capabilities), tablet/ipad, or android/iphone.
Scheduling a telehealth visit:
- Contact the office via Klara to schedule.
- Make sure that your camera and microphone are enabled for the visit and you have your child’s weight, thermometer (if available), and any pertinent information handy at the beginning of the visit.
Cost of telehealth:
- The cost of a telehealth visit is typically the same as an in-person visit.
- You may receive a bill for co-pay or deductible balances after your appointment. All Visits will be billed to the insurance on file.
- The best course of action is to contact your insurance provider if you are concerned or unsure of cost.
